I guess this setup (kinda) works as a way to store a Fortress anchor on a roller, at least if it’s lashed down when at sea. Somehow, though, it triggers me as a devout anchor nerd.

Well, my first thought is “holy shit”. Then, I think about the overall reliability of the Danforth type on the “Endeavor”s (mostly very good). But Then I go back to “holy shit….” I mean, talk about lazy…. and let’s not even start about the boat >.<
